Message	scenario. your plugs were gas fouled (sooty black ?) Yes, your oil is likely contaminated. is your oil level high? if so then definately. No , you cant run with a huge vacuum leak. that might be part of your problem, depending on the location. if the ecu "sees" low vacuum - it sends more fuel to help with the "lean" condition. remember the car can run rich and you wont see any black smoke - when you see black smoke it's running REALLy rich.
